History:
Internationally renowned jazz artist Dean Krippaehne has been burning up the hip-hep-neo-swing-and-blues-thing since the mid eighties. Dean's music has been featured in numerous jazz compilations including:

  In 1997, Dean released the critically acclaimed acid jazz "THE PH7 PROJECT" with Erik Hall on the MDR Record label and in 1999 released his first full length solo effort "THE DEAN KRIPPAEHNE JAZZ PROJECT" for Tri-West. He has followed up with two more CDs "Christmas Jazz" and "Jazz Cafe." Since the internet music explosion of the late 90's Dean's jazz has topped the charts at MP3.com, Downbeat, CNET, Riffage.com, Amazon, PeopleSound.com, SoundClick.com, BroadJam.com, and ArtistLaunch along with tearing up the Muzak waves.
Recently Dean has been producing music for many film and TV projects and his music has been heard extensivly in the ABC soap "One Life to Live," as well as "Lincoln Heights (ABC Family)," " Chris Rock's "Good Hair" (HBO)," "The Biggest Loser (NBC), "The Today Show (NBC)," and "Vampire Diaries (CW)." This last year has also brought Dean as a songwriter two gold records, two platinum records and a Top Ten/Billboard in Europe.
